“Life is like a camera. Focus on what’s important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if it doesn’t work out, just take another shot!”
“Never get so busy making a living you forget to make a life.”
Rushing, I’m busy, no time! Life moves at an incredible speed and only seems to move quicker and become more busy by the day. Studies have shown that when people are asked to define their past week in one word, the most common answers are “stressful” and “hectic”.
We have 24 hours in each day. In general 8 hours devoted to sleep, 8 hours to work and an additional 8 hours for everything else we truly want to enjoy and everything else. The hours not spent working or sleeping are the hours that define us. Don’t spend these precious moments by wasting them away. Take time to reflect, connect with those that lift you higher and doing the things that make you happy. Make your Life one that’s well spent with no regrets.
Today, pay even more attention to your 8 hours for everything else and do something that makes you happy or allows you to physically and mentally rest… make a healthy meal, go for a walk, turn off the TV and just listen to your favorite band / music or spend it with a pet or friend / family member. Do more of what make you happy.
“The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time.” ~Abraham Lincoln
Try not to think about the future and everything you want to accomplish in such great detail, as that can be quite daunting, but rather one day at a time, we can do that. Start small and work your way up, reflecting each night.
